At home!

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to all of you for your prayers! The surgery went great and I am at home now. I just ate some soup and for the first time in a month I didn't feel like I was gonna throw up after eating. WOOOHOOO!! Sorry this is such a short post, the pain meds are making the words run together! Thanks again everyone, I love you all! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I sent you an email, but I knew you would be busy getting things ready for surgery. Let me know when you want me to bring some food. I am just waiting to hear from you.

I am so glad you are home and doing well. I love you!

Been there done that. You will feel better but be careful with the "roughage" such as lettuce for a while.

Karri, I have often said "food had never tasted so good as it did after I got my GB out and didn't get sick every time I ate" Glad you are home and doing well. Also glad you had good care at the hosp (btw don't believe a word Shannon said about me. LOL).Hope to see you soon. Love you much.

Been there done that I had mone out in 2001 and eat everything in the house the first day. I had been so sick that I cooked for the day before preparing jello, puddings, soups, and light food for meals. I came home and that night ate all of it. Chad still laughs about it, I gained back the 35 pounds I had lost with a few to spare in a few days (he says). I hope that you can rest and get to feeling better. Praying for you. Vernie
